Norican Czech s.r.o. belongs to the "Supply Chain" category within the Norican Group. It is one of the logistics and assembly centres of the Norican Group in the world and the only one in Europe. The company is based in Příbram, where currently over 250 employees work.

Responsibilities for allocated House accounts:

  • Acting as primary aftermarket customer contact point, leading relationship and account management and customer support activities
  • Focusing on proactive selling activities of aftermarket products, such as parts, service labour and simple upgrades. Communicating value to customer and converting to bookings
  • Creation and execution of account plans for larger customers as required

Responsibilities for allocated Priority/ Strategic accounts:

  • Working in tandem with Outside Sales and Account Management Teams to support and drive sales activities
  • Acting as structured contact point for customer. Communication into account team and wider business as required. Ensuring structured customer feedback/resolution as a part of account team

General responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining customer contact and network through primarily virtual means (i.e., leveraging modern sales technology and digital tools to engage customer, business travel by exception and not expected)
  • Represent & promote equally all Lines of Business brands/technologies according to customer installation
  • Possessing product knowledge and able to advise customer on simple technical questions
  • Ensuring co-ordination within Norican business to achieve timely and accurate support of customer’s needs and requests
  • Preparation and presentation of regular account sales reviews, forecasts and other management reporting
  • Update CRM and other IT systems as required to reflect our customer contacts
  • Proactively analysing and drawing insights from sales tools to understand customer needs and convert these into sales success
  • Proactive gathering & maintenance of relevant business intelligence on account and entry into relevant CRM or other system in structured form
  • Creation, follow-up and expediting of offers and orders. Associated tasks as required
  • In some cases, support of non-European subsidiaries of allocated accounts may be necessary
  • Support of general Aftermarket European business activities for all customers as required

What we are looking for: 

  • Technical or Commercial education (college or higher) with ability quickly understand Norican products technically
  • Customer-focused and solution-oriented
  • Aim to become trusted contact partner of choice for customer
  • Sales ‘hunter’ mentality
  • Analytical & process driven. Methodical way of working with content & data focus
  • Strong verbal, presentation and written skills
  • Strong selling skills
  • Familiarity and mastery over digital engagement tools (e.g., Teams calls, Zoom) to be able to run sales calls digitally
  • Willingness to learn and continually improve
  • Speaks Czech language and English
  • Past sales or commercial operations experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Norican product portfolio
