Professional Experience & Background

Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
2-5 Years of experience in accounting preferable in a manufacturing environment.
Must have excellent analytical and communications skills and be able to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office with Advanced Excel skills
Good documentation and attention to detail required.

Job Details

Perform various general accounting duties involving reconciling general ledger accounts
Proficient knowledge:
- prepaid accounting
- fixed asset accounting
- reconciliation and ledger transactions
- payroll accounting
- sales & use tax administration
Participate in month-end closings and balancing of various general ledger accounts
Assist with inventory accounting
Backup for Cost Accounting, Treasury, Cash Applications.
Perform daily production posting
Assist in yearly functions such as the physical inventories and standard cost roll
Perform special projects and duties as required
