Aftermarket Offering Manager | Norican | Altrincham, Manchester

Are you ready to take on a new, exciting challenge?

In the position of Aftermarket offering manager, you will play a key role on two of the main priorities of our Full Service program. Firstly, leading the efforts of building a stronger and more customer-oriented aftermarket offering portfolio in close collaboration with our aftermarket delivery teams, product management and R&D. Secondly, playing a key role in driving commercial growth in collaboration with the regional markets through commercial planning and roll out of the new offering.

Help us Shape Industry By:

  • Lead the development of a cross company customer centric aftermarket portfolio.
  • Drive / project manage development of new offerings (in particular service contracts, remote service offerings and data driven services incl. advanced performance contracts and consulting services)
  • Co-drive pilot projects with key customers for testing and developing new offerings
  • Optimize aftermarket offer development process between R&D, product management and commercial
  • Monitor competition and market for new offerings and better ways to serve customers
  • Ensure development of clear value propositions, sales collateral and training across LoBs in coordination with the regional marketing managers
  • Drive roll-out of new offerings to regional sales organizations

About You:

  • Dynamic, business and result oriented person with a high degree of independence
  • Structured problem solver able with highly developed analytical skills
  • Ability to challenge and effectively change current practices and ways of thinking, respecting company rules and guidelines
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal, good relationship management abilities (internal and external),
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills, having the courage and conviction to follow through on assignments
  • Understanding of multi-cultural environment and rules of matrix organization
  • Readiness to travel
  • Business experience with sales/service, product management, consulting. Preferably working within a B-to-B environment
  • Experienced project manager with ability to progress projects in a structured and systematic manager and manager broad range of stakeholders
  • High management/commercial education with ability to quickly understand Norican products
  • Experience with product management and/or Sales/Commercial excellence
  • Fluent in written and verbal English
  • Advanced user of PC and MS Office Package
